celebrate the king’s coronation with us

We are very much looking forward to celebrating the King’s Coronation and the long weekend of course.

To celebrate this auspicious occasion we have a number of menu specials on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th May. We have it on good authority that these are some of King Charles’s favourite dishes (ok, then we googled). He’s definitely one for comfort food and you can enjoy dishes such as Cheesy Baked Eggs, Homemade Game Pie and Strawberry & Sherry Trifle among others. Take a look at our specials menu here.

We’re also told (yep, google again) that he’s rather partial to dram of Scottish Whisky, so we’ve come up with a special cocktail called ‘Lime ’em up Charlie’. Made from Talisker Whisky, Ginger Ale, Lime Juice and Lime, and on offer for just £7 throughout the weekend we think it’s fit for a King!

If you want to watch the big moment on the telly of course we’ll be showing it and we think that Charles would appreciate a bit of rock music, so we’ve booked the Fallen Idols for Saturday 6th at 9pm. Find out more here.
