thursday 5th may – cinco de mayo

We just love a theme on a Thursday! Themey Thursday?

So, for this Thursday 5th May we travel to Mexico to join in the celebrations of Cinco de Mayo (figuratively speaking, not literally, unfortunately).

Cinco de Mayo (“Fifth of May”) is a big fiesta in Mexico. It commemorates a battle that took place on 5 May 1862, when a small group of Mexican fighters, whose resources and morale were severely depleted after the end of the Mexican civil war, defeated French troops under the command of Napoleon III. It was an improbable victory that stunned the world.

We will join in with the celebrations with some menu specials. Of course there will be Tacos, Quesadillas, Burritos, Nachos and Churros!  We’ll have Desperados and Passionfruit Margheritas on our drinks menu and expect to see the odd Sombrero or two.

Take a look at our menu here and click on Book a Table to make a reservation.
