All you need to know about visiting the Exmouth

We have taken some small steps in the relaxation of our social distancing measures, keeping some elements in place and relaxing others.

We understand that many of you still have concerns about social distancing and safety measures. We want all of our customers to have an enjoyable visit and therefore if you have any worries at all about visiting us please get in touch via email or telephone. We can help plan your visit accordingly and hopefully put your mind at rest.

Booking a table
You can book a table for INSIDE and if you are DINING.
Apart from that it’s back to the good old days. Just pop along and tables will be offered on a first come first served basis.

How to order
We will have a number of different options:

  • If you are dining with us inside the pub we will offer full table service
  • If you are dining with us outside please order your food at our ‘meet and greet point’, at the outside horsebox bar (open during peak times) or our inside bar
  • For drinks, we highly recommend that you use our Order at Table website for the quickest, most efficient service. You can also order at our horsebox bar (open during peak times) and also inside. Once you have received your drinks at the bar inside please move away as there will be no standing or sitting at the bar.

Party Size
There is no longer a restriction on table size. If your table is for 10 or over please email us to book rather than use our online booking system. We will ask for a pre-order for groups larger of 10 and over.
Our tables will remain suitably spaced to allow for social distancing and we will keep some areas inside that are ‘seated only’ areas with full table service.

Face Coverings
We ask that you are courteous to others and advise that you wear a face covering inside unless seated.
Our front of house team will continue to wear face coverings.

Your visit
Please do not visit if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Hand sanitizer stations will be placed at the entrance, by the toilets and at various other points around the pub and the garden. We ask that you maintain regular hand washing and sanitizing during your visit.
While keeping you comfortable we will keep some doors and windows open to reduce touch points and also to allow additional ventilation.
